Peanuts Halloween 1973: Did the Great Squash ever show up?

Sad but true:  there was no Great Pumpkin in 1972.  There weren't even any Halloween-themed Peanuts comics that year.  Peanuts readers had to wait until 1973 for the Great Pumpkin to return.
