Who would complain about a single strip to celebrate Halloween in the Peanuts comics in 1999? This would be the last original Halloween-related strip Charles Schulz would create. Linus never did get to see the Great Pumpkin, but we all know he's still out there, waiting patiently in the pumpkin patch.

Peanuts Halloween 1998: We're giving away a doughnut with every subscription to the "Great Pumpkin" newsletter
Happy Halloween! We made it through a whole month of Halloween Peanuts comic strips! This is the first of two installments to celebrate the day - the last two years of Halloween in the Peanuts comic strip.
Charles Schulz would stop creating original Peanuts comic strips in 1999. The 1998 story line was the last multiple-strip celebration of Halloween, and it was a doozy, with 11 strips.

Peanuts Halloween 1982: Anyone see a bowling ball come this way?
